On-Site Massage Therapy with Cumberland Students
A highlight of the massage therapy training program at Cumberland Institute is the Intern Clinic. The clinic, located at the school in Brentwood, TN, is staffed by students in their last quarter of training or recent graduates working a post-graduate quarter. These interns use their clinic sessions to practice their massage therapy skills in a professional setting before graduation. All sessions are by appointment only. Extra cleaning and sanitation are of great importance within our Intern Clinic. Interns will gather lubrication, linen and other supplies for the session and only bring into the room items needed for each client to provide a safe and clean environment.

Members of the general public can book appointments with interns. All sessions are 90-minutes in length consisting of 15 min. check-in, 90 min. massage session and 15 min. check-out. Sessions are $60.00. Please download and complete the appropriate forms below.

Our massage sessions are integrated with elements from Swedish, Advanced Swedish Techniques, Acupressure and either Craniosacral Therapy/Neuromuscular Therapy/Lymphatic Technique depending on the focus the interns select. The clinic schedule changes each quarter based on student availability.
